Students work in small groups of 3 or 4. Students learn to play and read music, while simultaneously developing listening skills. Skills taught in the course include a variety of activities chosen from keyboard performance, listening, pitch matching, keyboard technique, singing, rhythm, movement and music appreciation.
This Program follows the story of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse - stuffed characters which we use to help us explore the piano. Students carry their own totebag containing the stuffed characters, lesson book, coloring work book, dry erase board with magnets and marker.
